One thing I didn't realize until now is how much the power of black pepper is underestimated.
That is the secret to sautéing veggies. I'm not kidding.
Get some eggplant, zucchini, and mushrooms; sauté them in olive oil with a hint of salt and black pepper.

It was a little bit dry for my taste, but good regardless.
