Snow, Laziness, and Opportunities

We are buried in at least five inches of snow today. Every day since the new year I've been looking for some inspiration to write about something, and I couldn't find it until yesterday. Yes, I have some photographs (very few) I shot over the Christmas holidays but me being my worst critic, I couldn't find the will to display them to anyone. I only brought my camera out when I saw what I THOUGHT was an opportunity. What didn't occur to me was that I was just waiting around for a certain photographic opportunity to come to me, instead of me going and LOOKING FOR IT. In other words, I was being lazy. That's really what it all comes down to:  Laziness. So, discipline it what I need in every aspect of my life. That is my only goal for this year, that is of course besides, good food, good health, and weekly blog posts (about what? I have no idea, but they are going to be SO GOOD, just you wait). So here's hoping you are starting off an amazing new year looking for opportunities instead of waiting for them to come to you. After all, "Adventure is out there!"

It was a snow storm last night to say the least.

And speaking of food, goat milk cheese on crackers with cilantro is possibly one of the best snacks ever.
